Victoria Johnson

I watched the Diamond Jubilee live on the news yesterday, and I was so touched by the nation's pride, love, and respect of their queen. It seemed almost tangible, and I had tears in my eyes. The royal family has certainly had their share of ups and downs, but the queen always seems to be so steady. This is something our nation could never understand.

I look forward to knitting with my English friend Brigid tomorrow; I'm sure she will share all kinds of lovely thoughts regarding the celebration.
